Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande Foundation (Rio Grande/RS, 1991-1996), specialization in Internal Medicine and Clinical Oncology from Hospital N. S. Conceição (Porto Alegre/RS, 1997-2000), specialization in Cancerology and fellowship in clinical and translational research from the Institut Jules Bordet (Brussels/Belgium, 2001-2003), Doctorate in Medical Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre/RS, 2006) and Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Medical Leadership from Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland (ALSS, 2017-2018). He served as an oncologist at the Beatson Oncology Center (Glasgow/United Kingdom, 2004-2005), Institut Jules Bordet (Brussels/Belgium, 2005-2006), Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc (Brussels/Belgium, 2006-2008), was Researcher and Chief of the Breast Cancer Group of the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo (ICESP, 2008-2018), and Medical Oncologist at the Oncology Center of Hospital Sírio-Libanês (2009-2020), with a main area of expertise in Breast Cancer Breast. He was approved in a public competition for Assistant Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP), a position he held until 2018. Since 09/2020, he has been an Oncologist and Breast Cancer Leader at the Oncoclínicas Group. Since 2018, he has also been an Associate Professor in the teaching activities in Medical Leadership at the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland (ALSS). He is advisor of the graduate program at the Teaching and Research Institute of Hospital Sírio-Libanês
