Once again, a successful event! I am thrilled when we have hot topics, which are presented in a practical and objective manner.
This 15-minute-lecture format is awesome. The objective content is indeed what makes the difference. I enjoyed several classes.
It's hard to choose one. I really liked the Oncogenetics panels; the panel that questions where we will be in 2030 was very well structured.
I was glad with the approach to the topic of survivorship, when they talked about patients who survive cancer and such approach is paramount, and not everyone does that. I also liked the panel that wonders if chemotherapy will survive in the future; it was very well presented.
Anyway, there were a lot of interesting panels" - @drasabrinachagas, oncologist - RJ

First, I would like to congratulate the entire BBCS organizing committee, a brilliant event, the largest research event on breast cancer in Latin America, which brings together great researchers and young researchers in the same session. This certainly fosters research in our country.
The researcher struggles a lot in our country and this event is a great incentive for us to move forward in the scientific career, because our patients need that. As a highlight of the event, as a mastologist, I would say in the surgical side, how we can reduce mastectomy indications through extreme oncoplasty or geometric compensation techniques. We know that conserving surgery is able to treat cancer safely, ensuring a better quality of life. So, without a doubt, we can increase our indications for breast conserving surgery and who benefits from this is our patient.

"I have been attending BBCS for a while and this
edition was very special. On its first day, we had the chance to participate in the preceptorship with
updates on clinical dilemmas in the breast cancer treatment (...). It was a pleasure to participate in this 10th anniversary edition of the
Brazilian Breast Cancer Symposium".

I had the privilege of participating in the BBCS since its first edition, in 2010. During this period, the event grew in organization, physical structure and scientific content, but maintained its principles of encouraging research and ample social interaction. For 2021, I can only hope for the same success that I observed in the past years!
